We have a project

Overwhelmed by the possibility of living waste-free in Macedonia and eager to bring it closer to as many people as possible, along with Samonik and ARNO, we came up with the “How to fit one year of trash in one mason jar?” initiative.
We envisage it as a process of developing both self-awareness and self-criticism regarding our own behavior and contribution to the environmental pollution.
Therefore, we will hear at first-hand about making no trash i.e. only one jar of trash per year from Bea Johnson, one of the loudest advocates for living a simpler life, freed from the consumerist chains.
No change is easy which is why we will explore, try out and share tips and ideas applicable in our context. We will write about and write down every challenge we will face on the way to zero waste, as well as all good and bad days, in our online Diary.

Since practice makes perfect, we will also organize hands-on workshops about the creative use of waste and indoor composting.
Finally, we hope that someday not so long from now, we will no longer need dumpsters and trash cans as much as we do today, and that waste will fly in this country no more!

You did it - your compost doesn't stink? You bought something unusual in bulk? You found typos on the blog? You have an idea or want us to collaborate?
